▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Forming a polymer/graphene nanocomposite, comprises: providing a polymer blend comprising a polyetherimide and a polycarbonate; and irradiating the polymer blend with radiation comprising a wavelength of 8.3-11 mu m to provide the polymer/graphene nanocomposite, where the polymer blend has a melt volume rate of 1-100 cm3/10 minute, as determined at 360 degrees C/5 kg in accordance with ISO 1133. USE - The method is useful for forming polymer/graphene nanocomposite, which is useful in an article (claimed), preferably articles using surface conductivity. ADVANTAGE - The method produces the polymer/graphene nanocomposite, which has: an electrical conductivity of 10-1000 S/m, measured according to ASTM 257-75, and a degree of graphitization of 0.5-2, measured according to ISO TC 201 (surface chemical analysis) and further according to Versailles project on advanced materials and standards by VAMAS TWA 41-graphene and VAMAS TWA 42-Raman; a gas barrier property; and increased surface area, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, hydrophobicity and/or antimicrobial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the polymer/graphene nanocomposite formed by the method, where the nanocomposite comprises the polymer blend as polymer, and polymer-derived graphene.
