NOVELTY - Solvent-free self-repairing hydrophobic polyurethane coating comprises polyurethane under layer having a Diels-Alder bond; and a modified graphene oxide surface layer. USE - Used as solvent-free self-repairing hydrophobic polyurethane coating. ADVANTAGE - The method: has simple process; and the obtained material: has excellent performance, has high tensile strength and elongation at break; reduced life cycle cost, and prolonged service life; and takes only 4 minutes to repair the raw materials from damage at a temperature of 120 degrees C. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing solvent-free self-repairing hydrophobic polyurethane coating comprising (i) mixing furan ring-terminated polyurethane prepolymer with bismaleimide under inert atmosphere, mixing uniformly and reaching the application viscosity, and then coating the mixture on the surface and treating, and (ii) dispersing the modified graphene oxide in an organic solvent uniformly, spraying the dispersion on the surface of the coating layer of the mixture obtained in the step (i), evaporating the solvent, and curing cross-linking to obtain final product.
