NOVELTY - Expandable vinyl chloride resin particle comprises (a) 0.5-8 wt.% carbon-based radiation heat transfer inhibitor, (a) a vinyl chloride resin and a physical foaming agent, and (b) a true density of 1200 kg/m3 or more. USE - The resin particle is useful in foamed particles for a foamed molded product (all claimed) for a heat insulating material for building, a ceiling material, a core material for a metal sandwich panel, a food container box, a cold insulation box, a cushioning material, an agricultural and fishery box, a heat insulating material for a bathroom, a heat insulating material for a hot water storage tank, and a pipe heat insulating material applications. ADVANTAGE - The resin particle has high heat insulating performance, flame retardant performance, foaming magnification, compatibility, thermal conductivity, dispersibility and moldability.
