NOVELTY - Material comprises 38-69 pts. wt. polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin, 20-40 pts. wt. low-dielectric glass fiber, 10-20 pts. wt. low dielectric filler, 0.5-1 pts. wt. antioxidant, and 0.5-1 pts. wt. lubricant, where the low-dielectric filler includes hollow glass microspheres, mesoporous silica, cage polysilsesquioxane, and/or fluorinated graphene. USE - The material is useful for reversing radar housings (claimed), and in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, electronic and electric, medical and food processing fields. ADVANTAGE - The material has low-dielectric, reduced dielectric constant, and 1.5 and 2.5 maintained dielectric constant. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing material, comprising (i) choosing PEEK resin, low dielectric glass fiber, low dielectric filler, antioxidant and lubricant, (ii) adding low-dielectric filler, part of PEEK resin, and part of antioxidant into internal mixer for internal mixing to obtain high-content low-dielectric modified PEEK masterbatch, (iii) pre-drying high-content low-dielectric modified PEEK masterbatch, and (iv) plasticizing lubricant, low dielectric glass fiber, remaining PEEK resin, remaining antioxidant and dried high-content low-dielectric modified PEEK masterbatch, kneading and extruding through twin-screw extruder, granulating by granulator to obtain material.
