NOVELTY - Flame-retardant and eco-friendly plastic material comprises 20-30 pts. wt. ammonium polyphosphate powder, 20-40 pts. wt. ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, 10-20 pts. wt. graphene oxide colloid, 4-10 pts. wt. nano-silicon dioxide, 3-9 pts. wt. castor oil, 5-15 pts. wt. chlorinated paraffin, 2-8 pts. wt. antimony trioxide, 4-10 pts. wt. nano-silica powder, 5-12 pts. wt. nano-alumina powder, 1-3 pts. wt. flame retardant, 8-12 pts. wt. silicon-boron-fluorine-containing copolymer, 4-10 pts. wt. carbon nanofiber and 4-10 pts. wt. hydrated alumina. USE - As flame-retardant eco-friendly plastic material. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and the prepared plastic material has excellent flame retardancy, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, good environmental protection performance, good deformation resistance, high tensile strength and moderate hardness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the plastic material, comprising (A) mixing ammonium polyphosphate powder, EPDM rubber and graphene oxide colloid, transferring to a stirring tank and stirring at a low speed to obtain mixture (i), (B) mixing castor oil, chlorinated paraffin, antimony trioxide, flame-retardant, silicon-boron-fluorine-containing copolymer, carbon nanofibers, and hydrated alumina, and adding to stirring tank for high-speed stirring to obtain mixture (ii), (C) mixing the mixture (i) and (ii), adding nano-silicon dioxide, nano-silica powder, and nano-alumina powder, mixing, adding the product obtained after mixing to a heat mixer and mixing for 30 minutes, and (D) adding the product obtained in step (c) to a parallel counter-rotating twin-screw extrusion granulator for granulation to obtain a flame-retardant and eco-friendly plastic material.
