NOVELTY - The preparation method of surface-modified graphene oxide involves reacting graphene oxide and KH550 (RTM: 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) solution, centrifuging after finishing the reaction, washing, and drying at low temperature, where the KH550 (RTM: 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) solution contains tartaric acid. USE - Preparation method of surface-modified graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of surface-modified graphene oxide with high grafting rate, low hydrophilicity, excellent polymer dispersion stability and uniformity, and strong stability, and which does not need to add organic solvent, increases the mechanical performance and friction coefficient of the composite material, and reduces the wear rate, by simple, efficient and economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of surface-modified graphene oxide composite material, which involves melt-blending, kneading and molding the surface-modified graphene oxide.
