NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises adding graphite oxide in water, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion treatment to obtain oxidized graphene suspension having a concentration of 1-20 mg/ml, then adding 30-50 wt.% of zinc salt into obtained oxidized graphene suspension, uniformly stirring to obtain a mixed solution, filtering the mixed solution, screening, carrying out microwave heating process, cooling, then carrying out acid activation treatment, and washing with water, then filtering and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The simple method is capable of preparing graphene with high specific surface area in a cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the graphene obtained by the method.
