NOVELTY - The catalyst has a catalyst main body provided with a carbon nano tube/graphene carrier. An active component is provided with the carbon nano tube/graphene carrier and filled with a platinum metal material, where mass percentage of the carbon nano tube/graphene carrier and the platinum metal material is 60-80 wt. % and 20-40 wt. %. The carbon nano tube/graphene carrier is made of acetylene that is selected as a carbon source. A graphene surface is arranged on the carbon nano tube/graphene carrier that is added with a platinum metal chloroplatinic acid. USE - Carbon nano tube/graphene platinum catalyst for a fuel cell for use in electro-chemistry field. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst prepares a nickel / cobalt contained graphene composites to reduce a graphene-carbon nano tube array and provides a smooth flow of ions for an electric catalytic reaction to improve an electro-catalytic reaction rate, and has simple structure, larger surface area, high platinum utilization rate and high metal catalytic efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a carbon nano tube/graphene platinum catalyst preparation method for a fuel cell.
