NOVELTY - A graphene transfer process involves incubating graphene/growth substrate with water vapor treatment, coating vapor treated graphene/growth substrate using polymer, enhancing polymer adhesion to graphene, separating graphene/polymer from graphene/polymer/growth substrate, transferring graphene/polymer to target substrate, and removing polymer from graphene/polymer on target substrate. USE - A graphene transfer process for large-area graphene used for electronic device e.g. flexible electronic devices (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Inexpensive graphene is produced by lowering graphene production cost in scalable process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) large-area graphene; and (2) electronic device comprising large-area graphene.
