NOVELTY - Production of graphene includes adding natural flake graphite to sodium hydroxide solution, adding fluxing agent, stirring, reacting, filtering, washing with water, adding hydrochloric acid, stirring, reacting, filtering, washing with water, and drying to obtain pure graphite; adding concentrated sulfuric acid to reaction vessel, mixing with potassium persulfate, phosphorus pentoxide and pure graphite, slowly heating, washing with water, and drying; and placing into ice bath, adding with concentrated sulfuric acid, slowly heating, adding deionized water, and continuously reacting. USE - Method for production of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is environment-friendly and more suitable for industrial production. The product has high quality and less defects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Production of graphene comprises: (A) adding natural flake graphite to sodium hydroxide solution, adding fluxing agent, stirring, reacting to 80-100 degrees C for 0.5-1.5 hours, filtering, washing with water to neutralize, adding hydrochloric acid, stirring, reacting to 60-80 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, filtering, washing with water to neutralize, and drying to 75 degrees C to obtain pure graphite; (B) adding first part of concentrated sulfuric acid to reaction vessel, mixing with potassium persulfate, phosphorus pentoxide and pure graphite, slowly heating to 60-70 degrees C for 3-4 hours, washing with water to neutralize, and drying; and placing into ice bath, adding with second part of concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, slowly adding concentrated nitric acid, slowly heating to 30-34 degrees C for 1-1.5 hours, adding first part of deionized water while keeping reaction temperature constant, continuously reacting for 30-40 minutes, adding second first part of deionized water and hydrogen peroxide until color of solution turns bright yellow, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid and with deionized water, centrifuging, and drying to obtain graphite oxide; (C) crushing, expanding, and ultrasonically stripping to obtain graphene oxide suspension; and (D) adding stabilizer and reducing agent, adjusting pH to 7.5-8.5, water bath heating to 60-90 degrees C for 6-9 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing with water to neutralize, and freeze-drying.
