▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Synthesizing graphene nanosheets at large scale from graphene oxide, comprises (a) synthesizing graphene oxide by modified Hummer's method, and (b) reducing graphene oxide to graphene nanosheets by urea as green reducing agent. USE - The method is useful for synthesizing graphene nanosheets at large scale from graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, and energy efficient; utilizes inexpensive reagents and urea as green reducing agent which upon decomposition at high temperature creates not only volatile species that mechanically expand graphene oxide, but also produces volatile gases that promote the removal of surface oxygen groups, hence environmentally friendly and economical; provides high quality graphene nanosheets at large scale within short duration of time; and does not require any costly equipments e.g. chemical vapor deposition and arc discharge.
