NOVELTY - Graphene oxide-coated polytetrafluoroethylene composite material comprises polytetrafluoroethylene particles and graphene oxide coated on the surface of the polytetrafluoroethylene particles through electrostatic interaction. USE - The material is useful as water-based lubricating additive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has synergistic effect, and improves the dispersibility of PTFE particles in water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing the composite material, comprising electrostatically coating the oppositely charged polytetrafluoroethylene particles and graphene oxide to obtain the graphene oxide-coated polytetrafluoroethylene composite material.
