NOVELTY - Preparation of coal-based graphene quantum dots comprises taking natural coal as raw material, crushing to obtain pulverized coal, mixing with strong acid, performing ultrasonic treatment, freezing overnight, adding sodium nitrite, stirring for 30 minutes, placing in ice bath, adding potassium permanganate, stirring for 30 minutes, placing in water bath at 35 degrees C, adding hydrogen peroxide and deionized water, stirring overnight, centrifuging, neutralizing supernatant and dialyzing. USE - Method for preparing coal-based graphene quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and has high yield.
