NOVELTY - Preparation of composite sponge containing amino-modified graphene involves (1) mixing aqueous graphene oxide solution with alkaline reagent, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, reacting graphene oxide dispersion with hydroxyl group-containing polyamine to obtain amino-modified graphene, (2) ultrasonically cleaning the sponge by washing and drying to prepare cleaning sponge, (3) and suspending amino-modified graphene into soaking solution, immersing cleaning sponge in soaking solution, extruding, and immersing such that amino-modified graphene is sufficiently adsorbed on the sponge. The order of preparing amino-modified graphene and cleaning sponge can be interchanged. USE - Preparation of composite sponge containing amino-modified graphene used for treating organic dye contaminants in sewage (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite sponge containing amino-modified graphene prepared has high adsorption capacity.
