ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and cost-effective, has low energy consumption, and it can be produced on a large scale, produce more defects and active centers on the surface of the carbon skeleton, effectively improves the electronic properties and surface wettability of the carbon skeleton, removes the metal catalyst substrate completely without causing pollution to the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing nitrogen-doped three-dimensional carbon nanotube/graphene carbon nanomaterial comprising (a) mixing the nickel foam and melamine in a mass ratio of 1:1-10, placing in a hydrogen atmosphere, and increasing the temperature to 600 degrees C according to the first heating rate, increasing the temperature to 800 degrees C according to a second heating rate, where the first heating rate is greater than the second heating rate, and (b) reacting for 0.5 hours under the conditions of 800 degrees C and a mixed gas atmosphere, and the mixed gas comprises inert gas and hydrogen in a volume ratio of 5:1.
