NOVELTY - Preparing photocatalytic material comprises (i) adding zinc acetate and neodymium nitrate to deionized water to prepare a first solution, (ii) adding sodium hydroxide to deionized water to prepare a second solution, (iii) adding the second solution dropwise to the first solution, stirring, and ultrasonically treating, (iv) placing the ultrasonically treated mixed solution in a microwave digestion device to obtain a precipitate, and separating the obtained precipitate and drying to obtain neodymium-doped zinc oxide, and (v) dispersing the graphene quantum dot solution onto the surface of the precipitate by dropping method, and forming a catalytic layer on the surface of the precipitate. USE - The material is useful for air purification (claimed).
