NOVELTY - Water-soluble epoxy paint composition for protecting eco-friendly steel structure comprises 30-40 pts. wt. water-soluble phenol novolac epoxy resin, 1-10 pts. wt. modified graphene, 1-5 pts. wt. aluminum fine powder, 15-25 pts. wt. filler, 0.5-5.0 pts. wt. aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. water-soluble dispersant, 0.2-1 pts. wt. complex antifoaming agent mixed with mineral (mineral oil) and silicone, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. wetting agent, 20-30 pts. wt. amine curing agent and 10-20 pts. wt. diluents. The complex antifoaming agent is mixture of mineral-based and silicon-based in the mass ratio of 1:1. USE - Used as a water-soluble epoxy paint composition for protecting eco-friendly steel structure. ADVANTAGE - The composition: improves high elongation, durability, corrosion resistance and service life of the structure; and reduces the cost required for maintenance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for steel structure repair method using a water-soluble epoxy paint composition comprising chipping and removing corrosion formed on a base surface of a steel structure using a grinder, a planing machine, and/or a shot blaster, removing moisture from the chipped area, and forming a coating layer by applying a water-soluble epoxy paint composition.
