NOVELTY - 0.01-10 mg/ml Graphene oxide as raw material is mixed with surface-modifying agent, stirred and ultrasonically-dispersed, to obtain modified graphene oxide dispersion. The pH of obtained dispersion is adjusted to 8-13 and then a solution of silicate is added to the mixture, stirred, solid-liquid separated, solid is washed and dried, to obtain silica/graphene oxide powder. The obtained powder is heat-treated and added to hydrofluoric acid or alkali solution, stirred, solid-liquid separated to remove silica, solid is washed and dried, to obtain layered graphite. USE - Preparation of layered graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides layered graphene using simple process under controlled reaction conditions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 0.01-10 mg/ml Graphene oxide as raw material is mixed with surface-modifying agent, stirred and ultrasonically-dispersed, to obtain modified graphene oxide dispersion. The carbon-oxygen ratio of graphene oxide is 1:0.1-1:1. The pH of obtained dispersion is adjusted to 8-13 using a pH-adjusting agent and then a solution of silicate is added to the mixture, stirred at 35-60 degrees C, solid-liquid separated, solid is washed and dried, to obtain silica/graphene oxide powder. The obtained powder is heat-treated at 500-90 degrees C for 0.5 hour or more under vacuum or protective atmosphere. The powder is added to hydrofluoric acid or alkali solution, stirred, solid-liquid separated to remove silica, solid is washed and dried, to obtain layered graphite.
