▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Composition comprises a graphitic carbon nitride material and a conductive carbon material coating. USE - Composition for use in electrode that is utilized in battery, preferably sodium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition has improved electronic conductivity and cyclability, and high density of pyridinic terminal bonds and low density of quaternary graphitic nitrogen species, and provides low-cost and long-life sodium-ion battery with high-performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. an electrode, which comprises the composition and a conductive metal; 2. a battery, which comprises the electrode and a positive electrode; 3. a sodium ion battery, which comprises the composition and a sodic positive electrode; and 4. a method for making the composition, which involves: a. providing a nitrogenous compound; b. adding a carbonaceous material to the nitrogenous compound to form a slurry; c. drying the slurry to form a coated mixture; and d. carbonizing the coated mixture.
