NOVELTY - A perforated molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/electrochemical magnesium storage graphene composite electrode comprises 80 mass% perforated molybdenum disulfide nano-sheet/graphene nanocomposite, 10 mass% acetylene black, 5 mass% carboxymethyl cellulose and 5 mass% polyvinylidene fluoride, where ratio of the sodium based electrochemical active substance, perforated molybdenum disulfide nano-sheet and grapheme nanocomposite is 1:1-1:3. USE - Perforated molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/electrochemical magnesium storage graphene composite electrode. ADVANTAGE - The electrode has high magnesium reversible storage capacity, excellent circulation property and enhanced rate characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/electrochemical magnesium storage graphene composite electrode, which involves making the molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/graphene nanocomposite, acetylene black and polyvinylidene fluoride into a slurry, and uniformly coating the slurry onto a collector followed by rolling and vacuum drying to obtain the finished product.
