▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A membrane comprises a porous substrate, and a graphene oxide layer comprising optionally substituted crosslinked graphene oxide in fluid communication with the porous substrate. The optionally substituted crosslinked graphene oxide comprises optionally substituted graphene oxide (111) and crosslinkage (112) which is diaminobenzene (I). USE - Membrane is used in water treatment, desalination of saline water and water removal method for dehydrating unprocessed fluid and removing solute from unprocessed solution (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The membrane enhances salt separation from water, and has excellent gas permeability resistance, high mechanical and chemical stability and water flux, and is highly hydrophilic membrane with low organic compound permeability. The membrane preparation process is economical and environmentally-friendly. The membrane improves energy efficiency of reverse osmosis membrane, and water recovery/separation efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A membrane comprises a porous substrate, and a graphene oxide layer comprising optionally substituted crosslinked graphene oxide in fluid communication with the porous substrate. The optionally substituted crosslinked graphene oxide comprises optionally substituted graphene oxide and crosslinkage which is diaminobenzene of formula (I). R=H, CO2H, CO2Li, CO2Na or CO2K. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method for dehydrating an unprocessed fluid, which involves exposing the unprocessed fluid to the membrane; (2) method for removing a solute from an unprocessed solution, which involves exposing the unprocessed solution to the membrane; and (3) manufacture of the membrane, which involves resting a solution comprising optionally substituted graphene oxide and a water soluble crosslinker for 30 minutes to 12 hours to create a coating mixture, applying the coating mixture to a substrate and repeating it till achieves desired thickness or number of layers, and curing the optionally substituted graphene oxide and water soluble crosslinker upon the substrate at 50-120 degrees C for 15 minutes to 2 hours so that the optionally substituted graphene oxide and the water soluble crosslinker are covalently bonded.
