NOVELTY - A modified graphene oxide/epoxy resin composite material comprises 1-10 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide dispersion slurry, 20-80 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 5-10 pts. wt. filler, 1-6 pts. wt. toughener, 0.2-3 pts. wt. accelerator, and 60-90 pts. wt. curing agent. The modified graphene oxide dispersion slurry comprises modified graphene oxide, dispersant, and epoxy resin. The modified graphene oxide is obtained by modifying graphene oxide with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, ethyl orthosilicate, p-phenylenediamine, or gamma -aminopropyltriethoxysilane. USE - Modified graphene oxide/epoxy resin composite material used as insulating gasket for isolating dissimilar metal (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has conductivity of 5.6x 1014-3.1x 1015 ohm.cm. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material comprising mixing modified graphene oxide dispersed slurry, epoxy resin, filler, toughener, and accelerant; and adding curing agent, mixing, and heating to 80-120 degrees C.
