NOVELTY - An electrode comprises an electrode current collector, and an electrode composition comprising an active material layer formed on the electrode current collector. The electrode composition comprises an active material, the surface of which is dry-coated with a conductive material and a binder dry-mixed with the active material. USE - Electrode used in secondary battery (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to mobile phone, digital camera, notebook, wearable device, electric bicycle, electric vehicle, and hybrid electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The electrode prevents damage to the active material, and improves cell performance of the secondary battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of electrode, which involves dry coating the conductive material on the surface of the active material, preparing the electrode composition in which the active material coated with the conductive material and the binder are dry mixed, and attaching the electrode composition on an electrode current collector to form an electrode.
