▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Formation of graphene-coated diamond particles (100) involves coating diamond particles with a charged species and a graphene layer (108). USE - Formation of graphene-coated diamond particles used for forming polycrystalline compact (claimed), fluid suspensions, polymers, elastomers, earth-boring tools e.g. drill bits used in wellbore of subterranean formation for surface polishing. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient formation of less brittle graphene-coated diamond particles with excellent hardness, mechanical strength, thermal stability, electrical conductivity, durability, shear resistance, tensile strength and wettability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for formation of a polycrystalline compact, which involves coating each of several diamond particles (A) with graphene layer(s) and catalyzing the formation of inter-granular bonds between adjacent particles of the diamond particles (A). DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a cross-sectional view of coated diamond particles. Coated diamond particles (100) Core (102) Carbon shell (104) Outer layer (106) Graphene layer (108)
