NOVELTY - Graphene nylon flame retardant fiber comprises 3.5-4.5% graphene content and limiting oxygen index of 35.5-36%. USE - Used as graphene nylon flame retardant fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method overcomes influence of addition of graphene on viscosity and fluidity of the nylon masterbatch, reduces viscosity of molten nylon masterbatch and improves fluidity of molten nylon masterbatch, graphene nylon fiber prepared has 60-65 N/tex dry breaking strength, 18-24% elongation at break and 2.3-2.8 Gpa Young's modulus and 35.5-36% limiting oxygen index. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing flame retardant fiber, comprising preparing silica-graphene composite porous material, preparing graphene dispersed suspension, preparing flame retardant masterbatch, melt spinning, cooling molding, stretching, winding and heat setting.
