NOVELTY - Preparing graphene quantum dot comprises (i) adding specific mass ratio of polytetrafluoroethylene and silicon powder into cyclohexane at room temperature, mixing uniformly, drying and sealing in a blaster; (ii) performing deflagration reaction, collecting reaction product, removing unreacted polytetrafluoroethylene and silicon powder, cooling, washing and drying to obtain graphene quantum dot polymeric nanoparticle; and (iii) peeling the graphene quantum dot polymeric nanoparticle to obtain graphene quantum dot. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene quantum dot (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, utilizes device with simple structure, consumes less time, and is convenient for industrial production.
