NOVELTY - High barrier antibacterial polycaprolactone emulsion comprises 100 pts. wt. epsilon-caprolactone, 5-20 pts. wt. L-lactide, 2-10 pts. wt. oxidized soybean oil, 0.5-2 pts. wt. antioxidant, 0.1-1.5 pts. wt. antibacterial agent, 0.1-0.6 pt. wt. initiator, 10-20 pts. wt. solvent, 0.2-2.0 pts. wt. emulsifier, 250-500 pts. wt. water. USE - High barrier antibacterial polycaprolactone emulsion for forming barrier layer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The high-barrier emulsion have high barrier performance after coating, is degraded into water and carbon dioxide under natural conditions, without causing pollution to environment. The main chain in the emulsion is polycaprolactone, which is a hydrophobic material and has good water resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the high-barrier antibacterial polycaprolactone emulsion, which involves mixing L-lactide, solvent, epsilon-caprolactone, epoxidized soybean oil, emulsifier and initiator to obtain a pre-emulsified emulsion, mixing the pre-emulsified emulsion with water to obtain an emulsified emulsion, reacting the emulsified emulsion to obtain a reaction product, mixing reaction product with an antioxidant and an antibacterial agent.
