NOVELTY - Thermal conductive modifier comprises 40-80 pts. wt. formic acid, pts. wt. acrylic acid, 1-5 pts. wt. hydrogen peroxide, 0.05-0.1 pt. wt. graphene oxide and 0-30 pts. wt. absolute ethanol. USE - The thermal conductive modifier is useful in preparation of coal gangue-based underground thermal conducting material for fields of geothermal mining, solid waste resource utilization or building construction materials (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coal gangue-based underground thermal conducting material: has filling property, simple manufacturing process, low cost and high thermal conducting performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: preparation of thermal conductive modifier, comprising (1) mixing and stirring formic acid, acrylic acid and absolute ethanol for 2-5 minutes to obtain a mixed and stirred solution, and (2) adding hydrogen peroxide and graphene oxide dropwise into the mixed and stirred solution, and continue to stir for 2-5 minutes to obtain final product; preparation of modified coal gangue powder, comprising dropping or spraying the thermal conductive modifier into 0-2 mm coal gangue powder, and grinding for 0.5-6 hours to obtain final product; modified coal gangue powder prepared by above method; coal gangue-based underground thermal conductive material, comprising 10-15 pts. wt. modified coal gangue powder, 5-10 pts. wt. cement, 30-50 pts. wt. coal gangue fine aggregate, 20-40 pts. wt. coal gangue coarse aggregate, 1-5 pts. wt. gypsum and 10-30 pts. wt. water; and preparation of coal gangue-based underground thermal conductive material, comprising mixing and stirring modified coal gangue powder, cement, 2-5 mm coal gangue fine aggregate, 5-20 mm coal gangue coarse aggregate, gypsum and water for more than 2 minutes, and maintaining the mixing and stirring process for more than 1 day to obtain final product
