NOVELTY - Immunosensor comprises electrode, and further comprises deposition of gold nanoparticles on electrode layer, graphene-chitosan layer, thiophene layer, morpholine layer and bovine serum albumin (BSA) layer. USE - The immunosensor is useful for detecting thiacloprid. ADVANTAGE - The immunosensor is accurate, rapid in detection, simple, cost-effective, convenient for use, stable and environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing immunosensor, involves mixing grapheme with chitosan, adding 0.05 M hydrochloric acid to the solution, heating the mixture at 80-90 degrees C, cooling the mixture, adding chitosan to the mixture, stirring the mixture, adjusting the pH value of the mixture to 7 by adding 0.1 M sodium hydroxide solution to prepare chitosan solution, ultrasonically dispersing the graphene in the chitosan solution, to obtain graphene-chitosan suspension, grinding and polishing electrode using aluminum powder solution, absolute ethyl alcohol and water for 3 minutes, depositing gold nanoparticles and the suspension of graphene-chitosan on the electrode and thiacloprid solution on the electrode, drying the mixture at 37 degrees C, and soaking the mixture at 37 degrees C for 30 minutes.
