NOVELTY - A heat-storage capsule (11) has a shell which surrounds an interior which is at least partially filled with a phase-change material. The shell is made of a plastic in which a filler is embedded, which forms a diffusion barrier for a working fluid which is to be introduced from the outside into the interior of the heat-storage capsule. The heat-storage capsule is used in heating or cooling system in which heat is transported using the working fluid which flows around the heat-storage capsule. USE - Heat-storage capsule is used in heating or cooling system for building. ADVANTAGE - The heat-storage capsule reduces diffusion of the working fluid through the shell and improves resistance of the shell to the working fluid, thus guaranteeing a smooth phase change of the phase-change material over a long period of time.
