NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide-sodium alginate composite microsphere comprises dissolving 5-15 pts. wt. sodium alginate in 90-100 pts. wt. deionized water, placing 4-6 pts. wt. graphene oxide in 50-60 pts. wt. deionized water, performing ultrasonic dispersion for 2.5-3.5 hours, adding into the sodium alginate aqueous solution to continue ultrasonic dispersion for 25-35 minutes, dissolving 25-35 pts. wt. calcium chloride dihydrate in 90-100 pts. wt. deionized water, slowly and uniformly dropping the graphene oxide sodium alginate mixed solution into the calcium chloride dihydrate fixative, reacting for 40-50 minutes, washing with deionized water for 4-6 times, treating the prepared product for 11-13 minutes under the condition of microwave power of 740-760 W and cooling. USE - The microsphere is useful for phase change energy storage, water purification, and building energy saving. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, environmentally-friendly, non-toxic and low cost and ensures controllable particle size of the microspheres.
