▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Material comprises a semi-interpenetrated network of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-valerate) and crosslinked sodium alginate, where the weight ratio of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-valerate) and crosslinked sodium alginate is 1/99-50/50. USE - The material is useful as an antimicrobial agent in biomedicine, and in applications comprising tissue engineering, controlled drug delivery, and as a wound dressing, where the microbial infection is against infections by enveloped viruses comprising severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), human coronavirus, immunodeficiency virus type 1 and type 2, Japanese encephalitis virus, Japanese encephalitis virus, Zika virus, Dengue virus , Hepatitis B and C virus, rabies virus, Herpes simplex type 1 and type 2, vesicular stomatitis virus, and rubella virus (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has physicochemical and biological properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for obtaining the material in the form of a film from a semi-interpenetrated network of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-valerate and crosslinked sodium alginate, comprising (a) dissolution of the poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-valerate) in an organic solvent, preferably comprising chloroform and/or dimethylsulfoxide, (b) dissolution of sodium alginate in water, (c) mixing the solutions from steps (a) and (b) in proportions by weight of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-valerate/sodium alginate of 1/99-50/50, (d) preparing the film by evaporation of the solvents at a temperature of 10-60° C, until constant weight, (e) ionic crosslinking of the film from step (d) by divalent or trivalent ions, comprising calcium, zinc, strontium, cobalt, iron(II), iron(III), magnesium, chromium(II), chromium(III ), beryllium, aluminum, cobalt(II), cobalt(III), manganese, nickel, or tin.
