▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A sulfur-hydroxylated graphene nanocomposite comprises at least one hydroxylated graphene sheet with a surface and several amorphous sulfur nanoparticles homogeneously distributed on the surface. The nanocomposite lacks sulfur microparticles. USE - Sulfur-hydroxylated graphene nanocomposite is used in cathode for rechargeable lithium-sulfur battery (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to camera, cell phone, gaming device, laptop computer, electric automobile, motorcycle, bus, delivery truck, train, boat, etc. ADVANTAGE - The sulfur-hydroxylated graphene nanocomposite can be manufactured by simple process with reduced energy consumption. The safe battery formed using the cathode comprising the sulfur-hydroxylated graphene nanocomposite has excellent cycle characteristics and durability, and high energy density, power density, rate capability, capacity and electrode conductivity. The battery can be manufactured by economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) cathode; and (2) rechargeable lithium-sulfur battery. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view explaining the synthesis of sulfur-hydroxylated graphene nanocomposite.
