NOVELTY - An oxidized graphene antibacterial masterbatch comprises 78-98.5 wt.% matrix resin, 1-20 wt.% graphene oxide powder and 0.5-2 wt.% dispersant. USE - Oxidized graphene antibacterial masterbatch used for packaging preservation materials, sanitary materials, decorative materials, non-woven fabrics, textiles and garments (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The masterbatch has excellent antibacterial effect with respect to Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The preparation process is simple, easy, economical, and high yielding. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the oxidized graphene antibacterial masterbatch, which involves mixing matrix resin, drying at 105-120 degrees C to a moisture content of less than 0.3%, mixing with graphene oxide powder in the range of 200-280 degrees C by twin screw extruder, extruding, and granulating.
