NOVELTY - Wear-resistant drum brake pad comprises 13-15% high hardness organic binder, 25-35% slag wool, 5-10% nano-carbon-based modified composite fiber, 2-5% composite rubber powder, 8-12% abrasive material, 6-10% expanded graphite crushed material, 3-6% pyrite powder, 6-10% SMC chopped glass fiber, and 10-25% space filler. The nano-carbon-based modified composite fiber comprises 10-25% graphene modified polyimide fiber, 10-20% polyimide woven carbon fiber, 8-13% carbon fiber modified poly-p-phenylene benzobisoxazole fiber, 5-10% carbon nanotube modified polyphenylene pyridodiimidazole fiber, 20-35% carbon fiber and 20-25% carbon nanotube. The space fillers are barite powder and calcium sulfate. USE - The brake pad is useful for water tank filled with slag wool, urban muck trucks, mining machinery vehicles and short-distance heavy-duty vehicles e.g. water tanks. ADVANTAGE - The brake pad is safe and environmentally friendly, and has low manufacturing cost and stable friction coefficient from low temperature to high temperature, low thermal recession and other characteristics.
