NOVELTY - Dioxin and heavy metal adsorbent comprises 70-75 pts. wt. bentonite, 5-10 pts. wt. charcoal, 2-5 pts. wt. graphene, 2-5 pts. wt. lignin, 10-15 pts. wt. sodium bicarbonate and 2-5 pts. wt. water. USE - The adsorbent is useful for removing some acid gases and harmful substances e.g. as heavy metals. ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent: has high adsorption efficiency and wide operating temperature range; handles other acid gases at the same time; and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing dioxin and heavy metal adsorbent, comprising (i) adding 80-85 pts. wt. bentonite into a mixing dish, taking 5-10 pts. wt. charcoal, 2-5 pts. wt. graphene and 2-5 pts. wt. lignin, placing in bentonite and mixing, taking 2-5 pts. wt. aqueous solution, and adding slowly the aqueous solution into the bentonite to achieve the soaking of the aqueous solution to the bentonite; (ii) taking 10-15 pts. wt. sodium bicarbonate, making the sodium bicarbonate into a saturated solution, pouring the saturated solution of baking soda into the bentonite soaked with water, and stirring well; (iii) adding the mixed adsorbent into the drying box for drying; and (iv) placing dried adsorbent in a grinder for grinding, taking out adsorbent particles and bagging.
