NOVELTY - Preparation of zinc manganate/graphene composite material involves preparing 1-2 g/L graphite oxide aqueous solution (a), preparing metal salt aqueous solution (b), where molar ratio of zinc acetate dihydrate and manganese acetate dihydrate in metal salt aqueous solution is 1:2, and concentration of zinc acetate dihydrate is 0.05-0.2 M, mixing solution (b) and solution (a) in a volume ratio of 1:5-7, performing hydrothermal process at 160-190 degrees C for 6-12 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing obtained solid using deionized water and freeze-drying. USE - Preparation of zinc manganate/graphene composite material used as anode material for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and efficient preparation of zinc manganate/graphene composite material having large specific area. The lithium ion battery using the zinc manganate/graphene composite material has high specific capacity and excellent cycle characteristics.
