▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Producing graphene and graphite nanoplatelet structures having a thickness of less than 100 nm in an electrochemical cell, comprises passing a current through the cell comprising a negative electrode which is graphitic, a positive electrode which may be graphitic or another material, and an electrolyte which is ions in a solvent where the cations are alkylammonium ions. USE - The method is useful for producing graphene and graphite nanoplatelet structures in an electrochemical cell. ADVANTAGE - The method: reduces the formation of graphene oxide through oxidative attack; provides the graphene and graphite nanoplatelet structures with improved size; allows the voltage applied across the electrodes to be cycled or swept; and allows easily collecting the graphene produced.
