NOVELTY - Electrode material i.e. copper(I) sulfide- molybdenum disulfide/reduced graphene oxide comprises bimetallic sulfides with heterostructures and graphene nanosheets for preventing the volume expansion of bimetallic sulfides. The bimetallic sulfide is spherical particles composed of cuprous sulfide and molybdenum disufide. The graphene nanosheets are anchored to the outside of the spherical particles. USE - The material is useful for a cathode of lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: is convenient to realize the controllable preparation and rational design of heterostructures; and has simple and feasible preparation processes, excellent electronic conductivity and cycle stability, and broad application prospects in the field of lithium battery cathode materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the electrode material by taking trihydrate and copper nitrate, thiourea, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and graphene dispersion in deionized water, taking sodium molybdate crystals and thiourea in deionized water, and calcining under argon atmosphere.
