▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The electrostatically driven graphene speaker (100) comprises graphene membrane (105), first frame (107) on first side of graphene member, second frame on second side of graphene member, such that both first and second frames include circular open regions that define a circular portion of graphene member, first electrode (110) proximate the first side of circular portion of graphene member, and second electrode (115) proximate second side of circular region of graphene member. A wire, such as gold wire, is in electrical contact with graphene member. USE - Electrostatically driven graphene speaker (EDGS) for generating broadband audio. ADVANTAGE - Improves efficient wide-frequency-response electrostatic audio speaker design since graphene has extremely low mass density and high mechanical strength. Low mass enables good high frequency response, while high strength allows for large free-standing diaphragm necessary for effective low frequency response. The speaker/earphone has good frequency response across entire audio frequency range, with performance matching or surpassing commercially available audio earphones. The light mass and low spring constant of graphene diaphragm, together with strong air damping, allow for high-fidelity broadband frequency response. The speaker also has high power efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a fabricating and testing method for electrostatically driven graphene speaker. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic cross-sectional view of EDGS.
