NOVELTY - An aerosol generating device comprises a chamber for receiving a suction material. An infrared emitting film (23c) is configured to radiate infrared ray to the chamber, so as to heat the material. A substrate is configured to support the infrared emitting thin film. The film is configured to extend along the axial direction of the chamber and partially surround the chamber. The zinc oxide film is doped with rare earth element of indium oxide or tin oxide film and graphene film. The substrate comprises polyimide, flexible glass or ceramic paper. USE - Aerosol generating device with infrared emitter (claimed) for heating suction material to generate aerosol for sucking food, such as cigarettes and cigars. ADVANTAGE - The aerosol generating device and infrared emitter are convenient for production and preparation. The infrared emitting film is wound on the outer surface of the base body under the support of the holding element. The holding element is configured to be located along the radial direction of the substrate is located outside the tubular shape of the infrared heating film, so as to prevent the suction material from falling out of the chamber.
