NOVELTY - A hydrogen is produced by reducing phosphomolybdic acid using biomass or material containing biomass; and extracting electrons from oxidation reaction of reduced phosphomolybdic acid hydrate at the anode electrode and reducing protons at the cathode electrode to produce hydrogen. USE - Production of hydrogen. ADVANTAGE - The hydrogen production method is capable of providing high Faraday efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for hydrogen production system comprising anode electrode, a cathode electrode and a reducing portion of phosphomolybdic acid hydrate.
