NOVELTY - Preparing catalyst based on carbon-supported niobium-based bimetallic nitrogen oxides comprises dissolving niobium salt and another transition metal salt in water or alcohol solution to prepare precursor solution, uniformly dispersing the carbon carrier in the precursor solution, filtering, and drying to obtain a precursor; and calcining the precursor with a nitrogen source to obtain a carbon-loaded niobium-based bimetallic nitrogen oxides catalyst. USE - The preparing catalyst based on carbon-supported niobium-based bimetallic nitrogen oxides is useful in fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The niobium-based double metal nitrogen oxides nano-particle prepared by the method has uniform distribution and small grain diameter, which is good for exposing a lot of active sites, the carbon load makes it have good conductivity, suitable for fuel cell catalysts, improves the current density of the catalyst. The catalyst has double metal components, not only acid resistance, has a rich and tunable d-electron structure, realizes the optimization of the adsorption strength of the reaction species and obtaining excellent catalytic performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a catalyst based on carbon load niobium-based double metal nitrogen oxide prepared by above method.
