NOVELTY - Mica tape comprises a composite mica paper layer that includes a base film layer (3) as an intermediate layer, and mica paper layers are formed on the surfaces of two sides of the base film layer, and a reinforcing layer is formed between the base film layer and the mica paper layer. The reinforcing layer is a layer of reinforcing resin adhesive layer, which is prepared by using high temperature resistant silicone resin adhesive as the base material. The reinforcing layer comprises 100 pts. wt. high temperature resistant silicone resin glue, 30-45 pts. wt. ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer, 15-30 pts. wt. fine-grained mica powder , 5-15 pts. wt. reinforcing fibers, 8-10 pts. wt. methyl vinyl silicone rubber, 3-5 pts. wt. naphthenic acid metal salts, 2-3 pts. wt. carbon nanotubes and 1-3 pts. wt. heat stabilizer. The fine-grained mica is a fine-grained mica with a particle size of less than 80 mum. USE - Mica tape for wrapping ultra-high voltage cable. ADVANTAGE - The mica tape has stable performance and high strength, and used for wrapping and forming the extra-high voltage cable with a larger wire diameter so as to ensure the physical strength and the electrical property of the extra-high voltage cable. The fine-grained mica powder and the carbon nanotubes are acidified mica powder treated with dilute sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid and acidified carbon nanotubes.
