NOVELTY - An electromagnetic wave absorber (1) comprises a resin (2) comprising a flat-shaped metal soft-magnetic powder (3) and a graphene (4). The flat-shaped metal soft-magnetic powder are arranged in the resin in the same direction. USE - Electromagnetic wave absorber used for electronic devices such as power semiconductor, computer and mobile communication apparatus. ADVANTAGE - The electromagnetic wave absorber has excellent noise suppression effect, thermal conductivity, and electromagnetic wave absorption rate on addition of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacturing of the electromagnetic wave absorber, which involves mixing a flat-shaped metal soft-magnetic powder and graphene into a varnish containing a resin to form a mixed varnish, forming the mixed varnish on a substrate, and heating the mixed varnish to dry it to form a film-like or sheet-like electromagnetic wave absorber.
