NOVELTY - Preparing ruthenium and iridium-based catalyst involves using ruthenium and iridium metal salts without containing chlorine, supporting ruthenium and iridium on a support, and then drying and heat-treating the ruthenium and iridium-supported support. USE - Method for preparing ruthenium and iridium-based catalyst for reducing nitrogen oxides using non-chloride precursor. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the ruthenium and iridium-based catalyst in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with excellent conversion to nitrogen oxides.
