NOVELTY - Use of highly conductive graphene oxide with surface-modified transition metal ions is claimed for the preparation of conductive leather, where the graphene oxide is obtained by adsorbing transition metal ion complexes on highly conductive graphene oxide. USE - Highly conductive graphene oxide with surface-modified transition metal ions is claimed for the preparation of conductive leather. ADVANTAGE - The highly conductive graphene oxide with surface-modified transition metal ions realizes the strong combination of leather collagen fiber and graphene, high conductivity, strong durability, and improves the elasticity of leather, enriches the multi-functional application of leather, and can be used for smart wearable, electromagnetic shielding, flexible sensing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing conductive leather, which comprises using highly conductive graphene oxide with surface-modified transition metal ions coordinately bonded with active groups in leather, and highly conductive oxidation of surface-modified transition metal ions, assembling graphene to form a conductive medium, where the polyurethane fills the leather gap and the leather collagen fiber residue crosslinks at multiple sites.
