NOVELTY - Photo-crosslinked binder system comprises a crosslinking agent, a particulate binder, a photoinitiator and water, where the particulate binder contains unsaturated double bonds, the crosslinking agent has a group capable of reacting with unsaturated double bonds, relative to the total mass of the solid content of the binder system, the mass proportion of the crosslinking agent is 0.01-20% and the mass proportion of the photoinitiator is 0.001-10%. USE - The system is useful in a slurry composition used for preparing an electrode for a lithium battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The system solves the problem that the carboxyl is easy to react with the electrolyte when the mechanical property of the binder is improved for the carboxyl crosslinking method, adopts high crosslinking reaction speed, can complete the crosslinking reaction within a few seconds to form a crosslinking structure, improves the overall mechanical strength of the binder, facilitates the structural integrity of the pole piece in the charging and discharging process and provides the slurry composition that can produce battery pole pieces with excellent flexibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a slurry composition containing the system comprising the binder material, an electrode active material, a conductive agent and a water-soluble thickener.
