NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified lithium ion battery cathode material involves plasma-treating positive active material, obtaining plasma surface-modified positive electrode active material, mixing plasma surface-modified cathode active material with graphene paste, obtaining mixed material, drying, calcined in an inert atmosphere, and cooling. The graphene paste comprises graphene, dispersing agent and solvent. The graphene is graphene with length of 10 mu m or more. USE - Preparation of graphene-modified cathode material used in lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides graphene-modified lithium ion battery cathode material having excellent electroconductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-modified lithium ion battery cathode material involves plasma-treating positive active material, obtaining plasma surface-modified positive electrode active material, mixing plasma surface-modified cathode active material with graphene paste, obtaining mixed material, drying, calcined in an inert atmosphere, and cooling. The graphene paste comprises graphene, dispersing agent and solvent. The graphene is graphene with length of 10 mu m or more. The mass ratio of graphene in graphene slurry and plasma surface-modified positive electrode active material is 1:500-1:30. The graphene slurry has solid content of 1-9%. The plasma-treated working gas is tetrafluoromethane, ammonia, carbon disulfide, and/or hydrogen sulfide.
