NOVELTY - Preparation of sulfur-doped graphene aerogel involves dispersing 1-20 g graphene oxide in 1000 ml deionized water, ultrasonically-processing for 4-24 hours, adding 100-600 ml alcohol solution, stirring for 1-5 hours, adding 20-60 ml sulfur solution and 30-80 ml caustic soda solution, stirring for 0.5-5 hours, reacting in reactor at 50-150 degrees C for 2-8 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering solution and washing filter residue with deionized water. USE - Preparation of sulfur-doped graphene aerogel for processing wastewater containing complexed heavy metal ions. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of sulfur-doped graphene aerogel with large specific surface area, high mechanical strength. The sulfur-doped graphene aerogel effectively absorbs complexed heavy metal ions from wastewater containing complexed heavy metal ions.
